More Complaints To Be Filed Against Corrupt Probate Judge Jeryl Debra Rosh

It's business as usual at the Dekalb County Probate Court. We've received yet another report of misconduct and abuse of authority by corrupt Dekalb County Probate Judge Jeryl Debra Rosh.

ROSHWATCH has obtained a copy of a complaint that will be filed with the Judicial Qualifications Commission charging more instances of misconduct committed by rogue judge Jeryl Debra Rosh in her official capacity as judge of the Dekalb County Probate Court.

We intend to allow proper time for the Commission to address this complaint, after which the complaint will be published here in its entirety.

Drug Addicts And Thieves Employed By Dekalb Probate Court; Rosh Dodges Calls And Questions From Media

WSB's Channel 2 News in Atlanta reports that an employee of the Dekalb County Probate Court has been the subject of no less than four recent arrests. Probate Court employee Jewel Margene Hendrix faces two charges of shoplifting from local Target and Macy's stores and two drug related charges.

Hendrix is still employed by the court while probate court judge and criminal in her own right, Jeryl Debra Rosh has refused calls from local media outlets and evaded questions regarding the matter.

Judge's Office Says It Knew Of Employee's Legal History

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- Channel 2 Action News has learned that a DeKalb County Probate Court employee has been arrested at least four times, but she remains on the job.

According to DeKalb County policy, an employee could be terminated for that, but probate employees are exempt from the policy.

Channel 2 Action News investigative reporter Jodie Fleischer went through records and learned that Jewel Margene Hendrix has been arrested twice for stealing and twice for drugs -- yet she continues to work inside the DeKalb County courthouse.

Fleischer also tracked down the judge who oversees that division to ask her why Hendrix is still on the job as a probate technician.

The probate office handles things like wills, execution of estates and guardianships.

Fleischer found that Hendrix has been arrested at least four times. The first was in Gwinnett County in 2008 when she was picked up at a Target store for shoplifting. Court records show the solicitor dropped the charges in March of 2009 after Hendrix completed a pre-trial diversion program.

The solicitor told Channel 2 that she never knew Hendrix was re-arrested just five days earlier in DeKalb County. Hendrix pleaded guilty to shoplifting from a Macy’s store. She entered DeKalb County drug court.Then earlier this year, she was arrested twice for violating the drug court contract by using drugs.Fleischer went to the courthouse to try to ask Hendrix and her boss, Judge Jeryl Rosh, about the arrests. Neither was available.

Late Tuesday afternoon, the judge's office issued a statement, which read in part: "We are aware that she (Hendrix) was involved in a legal situation. As such, she was put on administrative leave without pay. Subsequently, the matter was diverted to a rehabilitation program, she is being monitored closely, and her performance thus far is satisfactory."

The judge has not returned Fleischer’s calls, so it was not known whether she knows about the two arrests this year for violating the drug court program.

A voice mail message and a sign in the office both said that Hendrix was at work Tuesday; however, she did not return calls, either.

Scumbag Jeryl Rosh Still Abusing Her Position As Judge For Personal Gain

There seems to be a lot of people turning up saying they've been screwed by Dekalb County Probate judge Jeryl Debra Rosh. She has been a judge less than 3 years and is the focus of several pending and upcoming lawsuits against the county and the state in relation to her improper, indignant, repulsive and down right criminal conduct on the bench.

Here's some interesting comments found recently at the Court House Forum website.

I too believe Judge Rosh to not be honest. How can she hear a case for a man who has NEVER LIVED IN GEORGIA? His daughter lives in Georgia, she went to NC and told him they were going out to eat and she took him to Georgia, put him in a nursing home managed by her husband and the social worker who determined if a person was depressed, etc. was her adopted daughter. They kept him "doped" and claimed he was not able to come to court. Why? All because he was getting married to the woman he had been with for 16 years and had given her his POA. Money and greed - that is all it was about!!!!!!!! Judge Rosh had a lot to gain by helping a man who manages nursing homes and can help her with money!!!!! She had nothing to gain by helping an elderly man live the rest of his life with the woman he loves, in the home he loves, and around his friends who he loves and who loves him. Instead she put him in a nursing home to be alone and miserable the rest of his life. He had been so afraid of going to a nursing home because he saw his mother live in one for 10 years and did not know she was in the world and he DID NOT WANT THAT FOR HIMSELF! What a shame the courts allow such!

I think Judge Rosh makes up her mind before ever entering the courtroom or hearing any evidence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think she is the WORST JUDGE I have ever seen in a courtroom!!!!!!!!!!

Corruption And Bribery In The DeKalb County Georgia Probate Court

Decatur, Georgia - September 13, 2008 -

Rampant corruption within the DeKalb County Georgia judicial system extends throughout the courts, even in the lower courts such as probate.

Case in point, Jeryl Debra Rosh, judge of the county's Probate Court has violated a litigant's right to due process and illegally removed a DeKalb County man as Co-Administrator of an estate in return for contributions for a re-election campaign in which she is running unopposed.

While accepting contributions from a Decatur attorney representing clients in a case before her court, DeKalb Probate judge, Jeryl Debra Rosh has committed illegal activities and breaches of her fiduciary duty, including but not limited to the following:

* Rosh allowed abusive litigation to be carried out in her courtroom and perpetrated fraud upon the court, when upon realizing that no claim existed in the original petition on which relief could be granted, she fabricated charges which were never claimed and used those fabricated charges as a basis for removal of a Co-Administrator of an estate;

* Rosh ignored admitted conflicts of interest on the part of the attorney's client, and appointed the client as sole Administrator of an estate despite the admitted intention of the client to use that authority to enforce an alleged land sale barred by State law and to defraud a beneficiary of his share of the estate;

* Rosh violated a defendant's right to due process by ruling on matters regarding conflicting claims to property and criminal allegations which lie outside the jurisdiction of her court while refusing to transfer the case to the appropriate court as required by law;

* Rosh ignored material evidence and allowed perjured testimony to be entered as fact, at one point during a hearing on April 3, 2008 Rosh rolled her eyes and stated from the bench "It doesn't matter if they lied" as a litigant attempted to prove perjury and fraud upon the court by the opposing party;

* Rosh has manipulated the record of the case by omitting documents filed in the probate court from the record;

* After accepting monetary contributions from the attorney, which totaled one half of her total contributions during that reporting period, Rosh failed to recuse herself from the case or to disclose receipt of the contribution to the other party in the case and continued to hear pleadings and issue rulings in the case;

* Rosh had the litigant and two witnesses illegally detained at the DeKalb County Court House following one of the hearings;

* Probate Court staff denied the litigant the right to file a Notice of Appeal following Rosh's issuing of the illegal court orders;

Crimes and conduct such as exhibited by Rosh in this case are intolerable in any court of law and such actions serve to erode public confidence in the judiciary.

Wherefore the above transgressions are considered, Citizens Against Judicial Corruption demands that Jeryl Rosh step down from her position as Probate Judge in DeKalb County Court. In the event of her refusal to voluntarily do so, CAJC recommends immediate impeachment.

She is aided in her crimes by the DeKalb County Sheriffs Department, the DeKalb County District Attorneys Office and even Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue and is known to shelter herself from prosecution for her crimes under Eleventh Amendment Immunity.
